Established in 2011, Pet Sitting Royston is run and owned by Jo Martin, a passionate animal lover.

Jo has lived in Royston for most of her life and is delighted to provide dog walking, dog let outs and cat care for when you can’t be at home. Jo is passionate about animals.

Jo was an accounts and payroll administrator for a large garden centre near Royston before her first of four children arrived.

It can be a very anxious time for you and your cats and dogs when you’re apart from one another. I am here to make sure that your cats and dogs are happy and well looked after in the familiar surroundings of their own home.

I want you to relax and enjoy your break or your day at work knowing that your cats and dogs are in safe hands and being looked after as you’d expect.

Over the years I have owned many, many (mostly non-exotic) pets, even a pet pig! So I have lots of experience.

Growing up, my late Grandfather always had a minimum of four farm dogs and we always had one or two dogs ourselves. I used to love nothing better than being with them all strolling through the countryside with my big pack in tow!

Testimonial: “I have worked with Pet Sitting Royston for over a year now and cannot recommend Jo more highly or wholeheartedly. She is the most professional, friendly and flexible animal carer you could ever meet. Jo took the time to come and meet my three cats before they started their regular twice daily visits. She asked not just about their diet but their personalities and playtime preferences and all their little quirks and characteristics. Ever since then, I know I can trust Jo not just to feed and water my pets, but to talk to them, and cuddle and fuss them when I cannot be around. Nothing is too much trouble and her care-taking service is second to none. She even drew curtains, turned lights on and off, brought in my post and put out my rubbish. My cats were all very well loved and cared for!”
